Dime A Dance!*!*! Is One of the Most Wonderful Vintage Stores I have had the pleasure of shopping in... It's located in Cedarburg, Wisconsin - in the Old Historic Cedar Creek Settlement Building on the second floor... It is run by a "Mother & Daughter" team ~ Murial & Mary... Mary actually owns it - and Murial says "I'm the Boss - when Mary's not around"... Murial is quite a character!!! The shop consistently carries some of the most wonderful ViNtaGe chandliers... candelabras... jewelry... hats... linens... antiques... & clothing - dating around 1920- 1950's... EVERYTHING is sooooo well organized and displayed - What an amazing inventory... You step back in time as you enter... Everything "SpARkLeS" ~ especially all the lit chandeliers!*!*! There are all sorts of interesting victorian era adornments from perfume bottles, to little cherub this and that, mirrors, etc.... A "must see" if you're ever in the area...
DIME A DANCE has a "ViNtaGe Paris Apartment" Decor...
Everything "just sparkles" in their jewelry cases...
Sooooo "girlie"...
***Fragile little pretties***
***Racks full of quality ViNtaGe Clothing***
I might have to pick out one of these lovely "Fur Hats"...
***Sweet birdie adornment***
There are "2" large display cases in the hallway... They make quite a statement...
***Just Lovely Vintage Hats & Handbags***
Be sure to put this on your list of places to visit...

What is so very sad is 75% of the merchandise in this store is either purchased for Pennies or Smuggled out of St. Vincent DePaul thrift store in Milwaukee on 23rd and Lincoln by Chuck who is a Volunteer.
ReplyDeleteChuck Has been a volunteer at St.Vincents for the past 20 years Pricing and sorting the Vintage Clothing and Jewelry. It's amazing what little goes upstairs to the salesfloor to benefit the charity and be accessible to the general public to find a vintage treasure . Instead it goes directly into his shop. How does this happen? The store Manager Carol authorizes it! Huge plastic totes of vintage jewelry and clothing carried right out the door, never making a appearance in the thrift store. Sad.
ReplyDeleteStory to be seen on Contact 6 ,Fox News.Once investigation is wrapped. Stay Tuned!!!
ReplyDeleteTruth Told: Wow, that is disgusting. Shameful.
