BACK TO GRAYSLAKE ~ Fall through Winter...

Now that Summer is winding down, I've headed back to GRAYSLAKE ANTIQUE MARKET, in Illinois, Selling my ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! F*I*N*D*S HERE -  FALL through WINTER...

 Lots of "hauling" at this show...

  You can't just pull your car up to your booth

 like at outdoor venues...

BeSt Rusty... Crusty... Chippy... STOOL... 

During set-up, one of my most favorite pieces SOLD...

It was "bittersweet" to see it go...

Over the years I find myself acquiring

 "Seasonal ViNtaGe Bottles"...

This one says GOLDEN HARVEST...

 The darling crusty... rusty... birdcage,

 with adornments, found a new home...

 Last Saturday I picked up this FaB Fresh Bittersweet Vine 

@ KANE COUNTY FLEA, in Illinois, from my friend ~Sue~

It was just E*X*C*E*P*T*I*O*N*A*L

YES, you read it right - last Saturday I did a whirlwind

 "Drive & Turn-Around" to Kane and back - 

before setting up at the Cedarburg Flea...

OMG!*!*!

 I found the PeRfeCt Place For It ~

Adorning a ChiPPy-W*H*I*T*E Architectural

 Window Frame in my Office/Loft...

I usually save my "seasonal" displays for the front entry area in our home,  but this AwEsoMe SaLvaGed Piece was just calling for the Bittersweet...

 I filled this larger ViNtaGe Basket with Hydrangeas from our garden...

I just love the "PoP"- Of - Apple Green...

I found this darling "smaller-size" Basket at Kane

 on Saturday,  in Diane Passi's Booth...

Over the years of both buying and selling AT THIS MARKET, I've  come to realize that having Merchandise that's all tagged/priced... scrubbed clean... glued/repaired... unique/unusual.. & displayed for helpful ideas - *May Not Be Worth It * 

More shoppers than not - were not willing to pay for quality merchandise that was carefully picked and pre-priced...
  I experienced many "low-ballers", who were rude with -
"No Deal" - unless it was a steal...

Neither of us had met in person before - 

only knowing each other via our BLOGS...

We soooo enjoyed Chit-Chat over Coffee at JAVA HOUSE - where, as I've mentioned before - Just Vamp Over that Mirror above the fireplace!*!*!  I'm soooo glad she called, and I was available...  Blogging has changed my life with wonderful experiences such as this...

 for a 3-Day ShaBBy-ShoPPing Spree in Michigan...

As you can see ~ By Sunday Evening - the SHABBBY VAN

was quite F*U*L*L... 

One of our **Main ShoPPing Stops**

 was the ALLEGAN ANTIQUE MARKET...

  Neither of us had shopped this Market before...

 I could hardly believe my eyes when I spotted

 this Dealer's Booth!*!*!

OMG!*!*! ~ OMG!*!*!

Jackie definitely had my taste when it comes to a

 "Natural" time-worn chippy patina!!!

I was vamping over her booth for at least a good hour

 while she was setting up ~

and did I ever find the SHaBBies here!!! 

 Yet ANOTHER - OMG!!! ~Just FaB,  Over-The-Top Booth

It was such a pleasure to meet *AMY & BRAD*

Just darling couple and business partners!*!*!

And what "An-Eye" Amy has for SHaBBies!*!*!

I most certainly made quite a haul in their booth!!!
