It's All About A Natural Time-Worn PaTiNa

  that ONLY TIME CAN PRODUCE...

For the most part, I try to stick true to this NATURAL PATINA...

On occasion, if I come across a vintage item that has EXCEPTIONAL FORM & DETAILS, but lacks a Time-Worn SHaBBy Paint Loss,  I'm "ok" with painting it a PLAIN SOLID SHADE of WHITE - with no distressing...  Such items might be:

  ViNtaGe Chandeliers, Picture Frames, or a piece of Furniture...  These"more recently painted" vintage pieces add a lovely compliment/balance to pieces that have acquired a Natural Paint-Loss Patina...

Be it Wood, Metal, Plaster -or- Concrete, it's all about the  
UNIQUE TIME~WORN CHARACTER OF THE PIECE...

*If the old shabby paint patina has become too loose/flakey,
 I'll stabilize the piece with a light sanding ~  
 Then SEAL IT with a coat of CLEAR URETHANE
to preserve it's look...

Here I am "VaMpiNg~Over" this PeRfeCTLy ChiPPy Door in Kristen's Booth...  Only because of it's SIZE, and the fact that I have way tooooo many background prop pieces right now - did I hesitate...  Sad to say - when I came to my senses and went back - IT WAS LONG GONE...  Yet another SHaBBy that got away!!!
