**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Booth ~ MAXWELL STREET FLEA - Cedarburg WI

What a fun WeeKEnD!*!*!   Cedarburg's MAXWELL STREET FLEA MARKET - drew a huge crowd this past Labor Day Weekend on Sunday!!!  After the rain cleared for Saturday's Set-Up, Sunday's Selling "stayed dry"...  Although it was quite windy, it wasn't enough to send the tents sailing - thank goodness!!!

Even though I got there at 3:30 a.m. - as the gates opened to the public,  - I still had 4 unopened boxes to put out, and I hadn't even "tweaked" my displays yet...

My booth was packed with "ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Shoppers a good portion of the day ~ and they were buying!*!*!

**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! BaSkeT with FaLL Hydrangeas!*!*!

On our property, we have some of "The BeSt" Annabelle Hydrangeas!!!   Annabelle's produce very large blooms...  In between working on my SHaBBies yesterday, I just knew it was "H*A*R*V*E*S*T   T*I*M*E, - with the hydrangeas having turned green for about two weeks now...

Before hanging them up to dry... -
I just had to see what they would look like displayed!!!
I grabbed this FaB SHaBBy Wire Basket that I purchased at Viva la Cottage mid-summer...  The Basket is quite unusual - as it is much much taller than it's more commonly seen shorter version...

 BeSt Time-Worn PaTiNa!*!*!
It's wire frame is coated with a rubber of sort ~
that has now aged just FaBuLously...
(enlarge this one...)

Such Great Form...  ~ LoVe the Rusty Handle too...
Soooooo Much more Interesting than Brand New!*!*!

"Not Tooooo SHaBBy GaRaGe" - now that the Harvest Is In!!!
Looks soooo refreshing with all the Hydrangeas hung on the ladder to dry...  A lovely Accent - to adorn your Fall Baskets/Containers with their GoRgeOuS Apple Green Color...
***I'll be selling a select number of these bunches at my upcoming Fall Shows***
*******
It's a GoRgeOuS Day here in Wisconsin!*!*!
Have a good rest of the weekend...

**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! ViNtaGe Mirrors w/Patina...

One of my weaknesses is ViNtaGe Mirrors!!!  I especially LoVe the Old Ones ~ that have acquired a unique silver loss patina...  It's a plus if the frame is chippy old white paint & a bit ornate...

Old White Paint...
ChiPPy...
Ornate...
Time-Worn PaTiNa...
Silver-Loss PaTiNa/Ghosting...

Just in past few months I've been drawn to "frame-less" Old Mirrors...  Frame-less Mirrors work standing up... hung... or lying flat to adorn this & that...  I have to say ~ the little Bird/Mirror is my #1 most cherished FiNd!*!*!

A lot of frame-less old mirrors have wonderful "etching" on them...  I recently picked up the mirror on the lower right at Viva la Cottage in Door County,...  LoVe it's silver-loss patina!*!*!

This mirror had fabulous silver loss patina - SOLD some years back...

Although the mirror on the left, no longer has "reflective" viewing - it's patina is just awesome!!!  The chippy white frame couldn't get any better either...

I just LoVe Tri-Mirrors!!!  They work so well above a couch, above a sideboard, resting on the back edge of cabinet, mixed in a grouping etc.  Almost always they have "etching"...  I love when I find them with a beautiful ornate crest on top!!!  This one is long gone...

I also Love Old Mirrors with "chippy gesso/plaster"...  This one has some beautiful flowers...

Mirror Mirror On the Wall ~ who's the fairest of them All??? - I'd have to say ~ it's this one in our home...  I looked for it for years!!!  A Kane County Flea Market Find...
Have a GREAT rest of this Summer WeekEnd!*!*!
And do know - I so appreciate you reading/enjoying/commenting on my entries...
