I shopped the Market BOTH Saturday & Sunday - 

Sooo glad I did!!!  This Row had lots of ViNtaGe Finds...

 Every time I passed her booth - a different

 "PLANTER" was in this same spot!!!

I thought tooooo long about buying the FaB White Vintage Tub...

  They make such great pieces for backyard parties filled with ice & beverages... 

AND this was ChiPPy W*H*I*T*E with a bit different form...

 Judy, of the Iowa Junk Gypsies was selling "solo" on Saturday...  

Without thinking twice, I Snagged this darling ViNtaGe Concrete BirDie Sculpture...

  This one most certainly will be a *Keeper* for a long... long... time!*!*!  It has FaB age crackling in the Old-White-Paint...

 This booth was a SHaBBy-White-Out,with more recently painted items...  

The beautiful displays really drew you in!!!

 ALMOST bought it...

It was in the toooo chippy category, and I wasn't sure how stable the crack was...

I spotted this PeRfeCtLy ChiPPy galvanized bucket "in someone else's cart"...  I was just C*R*A*Z*E*D OVER IT!!!  Sooooo I offered the woman double what she paid for it...  And let me tell you, - it was quite a hefty number...

 Sad to Say - it went home with HER...

First of the Season ~ KANE COUNTY FLEA MARKET - Illinois...

Sleeting Snow... COLD Temperatures... Wind...

  Not the best conditions for opening day at the Kane County Flea Market in St. Charles, Illinois!!!  HOWEVER ~ it most certainly did not keep ShoPPers away - IT WAS JUST MOBBED!*!*!

All Us "Die-Hard" ShoPPers Battled the Elements...

It was just miserable walking in between the "5" Buildings filled with dealers...

There were a "handful" of CRaZy OutSide Vendors!!! ~ or should I say BRAVE???

OMG!*!*!  This FaB FiNd found me "Weak-In-The-Knees"...

This piece is soooooo Anthro!!!

Late 1800's Brass Frame with ornate floral motif applique...  

The AwEsoMe Tin Center has The BeSt-Ever Natural Time-Worn Rusty Patina!!!

  CHaNdeLier- B*L*I*N*G, ~ dripping with prisms!*!*!

Such was the case here...  Sad-To-Say, the RED SOLD DOT got there before me...

 I just loved these...

 It was such a pleasure to run into these 3 Creative Ladies!*!*!

EVERYONE was bundled up for The Hunt!!!

 Lot's of SPRING InSpiRAtion could be seen...

I even met a few NEW VENDORS...

 This was just a Killer-Piece!*!*!

I had to wait quite a while to snap a pic in Rosemary's Booth ~ it was so mobbed with people that you couldn't see her stuff!!!

I ShoPPed the Market BOTH Saturday & Sunday...  ~ and was glad I did!*!*!  I'm always so CraZed on the First Day...  I ran into sooooo many of YOU who read my Blog - but had little time to Chit-Chat - being FOCUSED ON-THE-HUNT...  SUNDAY was much more relaxed - taking my time - talking to vendors...  I even netted a few special finds that were still there to be had...

**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy!** Shops May Kane County Flea Market...

Soooo the SHaBBy ShoPPing Weekend continues...  I shopped Kane County Flea, in St. Charles, Illinois - BOTH Saturday and Sunday!!!    Although the weather was sunny and warm on Saturday, the WIND was a major factor!!!    A good number of Outside Dealers paid the price - lots of "crashing/breakage sounds"  could frequently be seen and heard!!! - OMG ~ what were they thinking??????  The good news -I didn't see any tents take off from the ground...  The dust was kicking up a storm on the North End as well...  Sunday was much cooler - but mostly Sunny - AND IT WAS JUST PACKED!!!  Lots of items that I went back to re-visit WERE LONG GONE...  

 My Pick - BeSt-Of-Show!!! ~ Lot's of natural time-worn chippies!*!*!

 I didn't get to Barbara's Booth till Sunday...  It was well cleaned-out by then!!!

 Diane ALWAYS has such a FaBuLouS Look!!!  I just loved this funky stool - wood top with castor feet!*!*!

 Just FaB Birdcage!!! ~ I most certainly would have snatched this up - but I already have one with "Black Crows" on it instead of Flowers...

This "Funky" Industrial Container will most certainly have your HoLiDay Guests talking!!!  Perfect size to put just about anywhere, indoors ~or~ out... My pick ~ welcoming guests by the front door -OR- on top of a cabinet!!!

I love the "stabilizing bracket" on the lower left...  The side "foot lever" - for ringing the mop out is "just Fab"!*!*!  AND not to forget the awesome ringer/roller area...

FaB "Old-SHaBBy" MiRRor!*!*! ~ It's Up!!!

Staying home this weekend enabled us to get quite a few things done around the house...  Some of you might remember pics of  ***My AwEsoMe Mirror Find*** from the Kane County Flea Market in Illinois, this past May...   Well, that 2-die-4 GoRgeOuS Beauty is NOW HUNG in my bathroom!!!  It looks just as Fab as I had envisioned!!!   I had been shopping for "just the right one" for almost 3 years!*!*!  (click on pics to enlarge for better detail...

  AmaZinG Ornate Top Crest Details...

I Love the hints of time~worn "silver loss patina"...  It lends sooooo much character to the piece...  I don't think I could buy a vintage mirror without it!

The ornate details are made of GESSO ~ a plaster of sort...  It has taken on many a hairline crackling ~ YES!!!   The old white paint, hairline crackling, & subtle chips here and there add soooo much unique vintage charm to this piece!*!*!

This ViNtaGe Mirror is hung on a wall adjacent to my large soaking tub...  I LOVE MY TUB!!!  A Chandelier hangs above...  and I have a couple Seashell Candelabras surrounding the area...  We're lucky enough to have outdoor privacy ~ allowing the shutters to be open during the day...

 Here I am at Kane County ~ just minutes after I netted my AwEsoMe Find!!!  I'm sooooo glad I forked-out the extra bucks for this one!!!  

On Another Note...  "REGRETS-LATER"...   You know how sometimes you get home and are sooooo sorry you didn't purchase a certain vintage find????  - Because you've now found the perfect spot for it in your home??? ~ Well, a good number of you have emailed me to see if an item from one of my most recent sales is still available.... I'VE BEEN SELLING QUITE A FEW PIECES This Way!!!  If you're local, I'm happy to hold it for you till you can come by...  -OR- make an appointment to Shop The Garage!!!  I'm also **Willing-To-Ship** smaller-sized items to those of you who live afar!!!  My EMAIL is on the sidebar...  LoVe to hear from YOU!*!*!
