This past weekend Frog Husband and I "Split-A-Booth" at the GRAYLAKE ANTIQUE FLEA MARKET in Illinois...  Although we had a fun time together ~ "My SHaBBies" were way toooooo sandwiched-in on my side of the space...

It was challenging to make it all fit!*!*!

LAST WEEK ~ While in California, I picked up this

 FaB ViNtaGe Bottle...

It was "bittersweet" to see it sell...  The Winter Graphics Couldn't have gotten any better!*!*!  

The smaller-sized child's ski's SOLD right away, along with the poles...  I can just SEE it displayed in a basket with some greens GREETING HER HoLiDaY Guests...

PeRfeCt HoLiday "Coffee Table" Adornment ~ lasting long through January...  These naturally-frosted white pine cones were a nature-find from our FALL NEW HAMPSHIRE TRIP... 

These Vintage Bottle Garlands look FaB strung across a Mirror,Windows, Shutters...

Sooooo "Jeanne 'd Arc / Nordic Style!*!*!

It went to a very good home!!!  

Just PeRfeCt - For changing out "Seasonal Decorations"...

My Galvanized Buckets W/Painted Chalk-Board Area, were a good seller...  Adorned with greens ~ they'll make a PERFECT HOSTESS GIFT during your holiday visits...  Tuck-In a nice Bottle of Wine - even better!*!*!

Frog Husband had a LARGE AQUARIUM he wanted to sell...  I came up with a SNOWY WINTER-WOODLAND DISPLAY...

Barbara & Kathy's BOOTH @ GRAYSLAKE FLEA...

"Barbara & Kathy"  put their heart and soul into their displays!!!  It was Over-The-Top amazing for a 2-day show!!!  Barbara, long time Shop Owner, just recently closed her store this past Fall...  I'm soooo glad Barbara & Kathy are now selling at the Flea Markets!!!  I'm sure you'll agree that they have a wonderful eye for displaying unique vintage finds!!!

These 2 Ladies are now my "new favorite sellers"!!!  I loved their display and chippy vintage finds!*!*!

This center display was just jaw-dropping propped up with the "Old Cast-Iron Stove Base"!*!*!  I definitely would have snatched it up - but it was a bit large for my needs...

 

 I spotted this cupboard of sort during Dealer Set-Up...  Of course is was GONE/SOLD the very next day!!! 

Such an Eye-Catching Display!!!

**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy!** Re-Purposed WHITE WEDNESDAY!*!*!

OMG!!!  I Think I'm on to a "New SHaBBy Collection"!*!*!  Some time ago I picked up a chippy old light fixture and adorned it with a decorative glass globe and votive candle...  I liked it - "but didn't love it"...  Over the weekend my SHaBBy-Eye caught a glimpse of 2-More chippy old light fixtures...  IN A GROUPING THEY'RE JUST FaBuLouS!*!*!   Sooooo my advice to you - ALWAYS BUY WHAT YOU LOVE...  SOMETIMES IT JUST NEEDS AN ADDED ADORNMENT -OR- IMPACT OF A GROUPING...

 I'm now hooked on collecting these old light fixtures...  I think a larger grouping of different heights on an old tray would be a perfect table centerpiece!*!*!

The weekend weather was "just fab" for FLEA MARKET SHOPPING!*!*!   There was a good crowd waiting when the doors opened on Saturday Morning at 10 o'clock...  Although my booth never got mobbed like last month ~ I had a steady flow of "SHaBBy-SHoPPers" almost all day, Saturday... Sunday's Sales yielded less shoppers, but higher ticket items...  Overall, I was very happy with my SHaBBy SaLes!*!*!  THanK YOU ~ to ALL of those who came out to support us Dealers at the Grayslake, Illinois Flea Market...

ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Booth...

 It was a last minute decision to toss in the Folding Garden Chair...  Glad I did ~ it fit in nicely with the display and SOLD along with the pretty floral 50's towel, and clippers...

  

 White is soooooo hot for SPRING this year!!! EVERYTHING looked so fresh and spring-like in my booth...

 

The GoRgeOuS ViNtaGe Pansy litho print Sold on Saturday...  The colors were still nice and vibrant and the frame nice and chippy!!!  The birdcage, oil painting, and tole bird candle holder also SOLD...

 Shabby Shoppers "visualizing" where this and that might display in their homes...

 This "shabby-painted" Mirror with "etching" ~ was Absolutely GoRgeOuS!!!

I still have the white box with rusty hardware, chippy metal stool with patina, and champagne urn...

 MORE "SHaBBy ShoPPers" discussing possibilities...

 

I had a little "Garden Area" backed by a fence and architectural window frame...  Both are still available...  As you can see, LOTS of other items SOLD!!!

Last Year I baked these delicious Linzer Heart Cookies for the Valentine's Weekend Show...  ~ "Cookie FREE with purchase"...  This Year it doesn't look very hopeful that I'll get to it...  I owned a "Muffin Shop" in Boulder City, Nevada, where I baked EVERYTHING from scratch!!!  This recipe can be found in the first Silver Palate CookBook...

It was "slim pickings" by the time Carol came to pick-up her darling little shabby cabinet on Sunday Afternoon...  I met Carol some years ago at VIVA LA COTTAGE in Door County Wisconsin...  Carol is The BeSt Sales Person an owner can have!*!*!    

I brought MORE SHABBIES on Sunday morning...  AND YES - some of them SOLD as well...
