ShoPPing Yesterday's F*L*E*A - St. Charles, IL...

I squeezed in a little last minute "FLEA-SHoPPinG" -  yesterday ~ at  KANE COUNTY, in St. Charles, IL

before Urban Farmgirl's Main Street Market

Next Saturday, May 10th in Rockford, IL

***********

AQUA-BLUE, MIXED WITH WHITE

WAS THE "HOT" COLOR AT THE FLEA!!!

Aside from the WIND, the weather was AwEsoMe!!!

A mix of Sun & Clouds with temps in the low 60's...  Initially there was a good crowd waiting as the Gates Opened, but oddly enough, in my opinion - it seemed to "thin-out" by mid afternoon, instead of getting busier...

******

My FaVoRiTe Dealers did not disappoint at the flea!!!

FINALLY ~ the FLOW of new "ViNtaGe Finds" is hitting the MARKET!!!  It's been quite a SLOW-START this Season, due to the cold hard winter here in the midwest...

I netted a few "Select Shabbies" ~ but for me, I was disappointed at the increase of  entire booths with newly painted furniture,  made in china adornments, & business advertising booths...

 ViNtaGe Metal Folding Chairs

with Original Paint...

I saw them being hauled-out later that day...

 Judy had the Sweetest

 ViNtaGe Metal Drawer Cubby Cabinet

in Original ChiPPy Light Blue Paint...

The sun was shinning so ~ I couldn't

 pick up it's true color...

 Industrial Lockers

 SHaBBy Sightings...

 *Almost* Bought the SHIP...

For a Show I'll be doing

 Up in Door County, Wisconsin,

ON JULY 12th

LOCATION:  Bailey's Harbor

 - in a park that skirts the water!*!*!

This would have been just S*W*E*E*T for

 someone's Waterfront Cottage Home...

 Kathy goes All-Out with display!!!

She mixes in a small amount of original vintage,

along with her more recently painted ones...

OMG ~ B*E*S*T...

Most FaVoRiTe Sighting!*!*!

1st Day of S*P*R*I*N*G - Think ViNtaGe GARDEN!*!*!

Here in the Midwest we STILL have a good amount of "frozen snow" on the ground with temperatures in the teens - OMG!*!*!  Until I have my "first sighting" of an outdoor garden hose ~ I'll cherish my ViNtaGe Garden Collectibles even more ~ with faith & hope that Spring is indeed around the corner...

In Our GaRaGe!*!*!

Galvanized Plumbing Poles suspend Numerous Time~Worn ViNtaGe Watering Cans... AND the Top Self of a FaB Old Cupboard displays a part of my ViNtaGe Garden Collectibles...

MORE Watering Cans

Stacked on Shelving in-the-GaRaGe...
The majority of my ViNtaGe Watering Cans are just for display...  What draws me to these Old Watering Cans is their NATURAL "Time-Worn" PaTina, Form, & "Rose" Spray Head...

Jeanine

ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! "Sets-Up" @ Northwind Antique Garden Show - Burlington, Wisconsin...

This past Friday & Saturday was Northwind Farm's Annual "ANTIQUE GARDEN SHOW" - in Burlington, Wisconsin...  We ALL had concerns about the weather ~ & the "Good News" - is that it "STAYED DRY" during Set-Up &  ShoPPing Hours - BOTH DAYS!!! - YES!*!*!  Friday's Crowd was unbelievable!!!!!!!!!   All Day Long, I  S*O*L*D incredibly well, having my first lull for just a short time around 1:30...

The grounds of Northwind Perennial Farm are just magical...

Besides the gardens, there are many an out-building displayed with the Best-Ever Vintage Garden eye-candy delights...

Frog Husband helped with the tent set-up...

The show layout was a bit different this year, with the addition of a permanent fence to the property...  I choose a "new booth location" ~ and it worked out "Just PeRfeCt"...  I'll be in the same spot for next year...

With the tents up, Frog Husband left ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! to do my thing...

 Here's what developed...
