Chicago Botanic Antique & Garden Fair 2010...

This year, other than "preview night" - I was unable to attend the show on it's FIRST DAY - Friday, but knew that I'd still get my eye-candy fix on Saturday...  Well let me tell you ~ the "ENERGY" was just not the same on Saturday...  I could tell very well that things were picked over and the Dealers were tired!!! Lots of concrete frogs... angels... watering cans... this year!
As you head toward the show entrance, the Botanic Gardens have this wonderful display of what's blooming on the grounds...
Everything is "1st Class" at this show!!!  UpScale white tents - you would think you're inside a building...  I was shocked at the parking fee this year -  being bumped up to $20.  on top of the Show entry fee...  I must be from Wisconsin...

The day was GoRGeOuS!!!  ~ Sunny, but very cool...   Look at these beautiful grounds...

OK!!! ~ Let's get the chippy, shabby, crusty, rusty, old vintage garden pics happening!*!*!

Take a peek in the background... See the little Birdie Perched on something FaBuLouS!
OMG!*!*! This is what I wanted to take home!!!  I LoVed It!!!  It was soooo Anthro!  Honestly, It would have worked out PeRfeCtLy in our home...  Maybe I could have talked my husband into it if he had been with me????  It was priced Over-The-Top Insanely... However - I've never seen another one like it...
Probably from a large estate...  I've often thought - "why not buy just one fabulous thing"???

I loved these chairs!!!  I could see them with some Anthro Cushions or Pillows...and a funky tole chandelier above!*!*!

I would have taken these home toooooo!  ~ Over $4,000

My FiNd!*!*!  Dealer said it was probably from the "1930's" - Folk Art Tole Piece...  I'll be mixing this in with some of my Iron Frogs!!!
