New England LoDGiNg & Antique ShoPPing ~ ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Style...

A welcome incentive to end our eleven hundred mile, one-way, road trip to New Hampshire, was pulling up at the HANCOCK INN  Bed & Breakfast in Hancock, New Hampshire...  What a quaint 17th century New England Town ~ especially in the Fall...

The Front Porch was soooo picturesque...

What a welcoming entrance...

Quite a few of the INNS in New England serve dinner...  Such was the case at the HANCOCK INN...

We had one of the BeSt meals ever along with wonderful hosts/accomodations...

 could be seen throughout the town...

 Quaint Homes

All different sizes & styles...

Almost all of them were well kept-up ~ No chippy paint here!!!

 One of my FaVoRiTe ShoPPing Places

 is the UpScale Town of 

Peterborough, New Hampshire...  

The town is nested down in a valley...

 As we were driving in, I spotted a New Antique Store that had sprung up since last year...

 The outside displays were very inviting...

 At FIRST GLANCE, It looked sooooo

 much like RED CHAIR ANTIQUES...

We later came to find out ~ that RED CHAIR M*O*V*E*D out of Peterborough to the Hudson, New York area...  I was soooo disappointed!!! ~ I loved shopping that store ~ and this year's travels were not taking us anywhere near Hudson, NY...

Cedarburg's Maxwell Street Days FLEA MARKET is held 4 times a year...   I sell my SHaBBies there, 2 out of the 4 fleas -  MAY & SEPTEMBER...  Yesterday, I shopped the last of the 2011 Season Event...

   The lines were very long waiting for the gates to open at  7 a.m...  A very good sign for Dealers...

This past Saturday & Sunday was a Double Header for me...  Frog Husband & I headed out early Saturday Morning to Shop the KANE COUNTY FLEA MARKET in Illinois ~ then CEDARBURG'S, Last of the 2011 Season -  MAXWELL STREET DAYS FLEA, on Sunday..

Even though I LOVE WHITE, when it comes to "HaRveSt Time" ~ a good splash of strong color, along with warm wood tones, is such a lovely accent...

Although I REALLY LoVed Selling at Elkhorn Flea this past weekend, I STILL drove myself CrAzY "Not being able to Shop All Day"...  I can't even tell you how many SHaBBy Sightings Cruised By-My-Booth!!!   ~ ONE OF THESE DEFINITELY SENT ME "Over-The-Edge"...

ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Sells at Wisconsin's Premier Flea Market - ELKHORN...

For years I have shopped the ELKHORN FLEA MARKET, at the Walworth County Fairgrounds, here in Wisconsin...  I LoVe ShoPPing there soooo much, that it was a hard decision for me SeLL there...   Although as a Dealer you somewhat "Get First PICKS" during Set-Up,  - the ShoPPing Time is so limited...  I had a FaB TIME SELLING THIS PAST WEEKEND, but it STILL drove me CrAzY when I caught glimpes of SOLD SHaBBies cruising past my Booth!*!*! - More on that later...

My Main Display Anchor piece was this ViNtaGe, 1890's Victorian/French Style Chair...  It had such incredible lines & still retained it original black leather...  It was over-the-top FaBuLouS!!!
