My husband's health is such that he can no longer help me like he use to at the Flea. We're unable to go Out & About ViNtaGe SHoPPing like we use to do as well. NO Buying Trips ~ Just sticking close to home these days.

I still hope to continue random ChiPPy-SHaBBy Posts FOR NOW, but mostly on my Instagram Squares (@chippyshabby)

Here in the Midwest (Wisconsin to be exact)

we're still seeing mounds of SNOW that have been plowed up, along with more cold temps... It's been a LONG WINTER ~ TIME FOR IT TO GO!!! I'm soooo ready for a lightweight Spring Jacket!!!

Simple Vignettes for "Early January"

Now that the Christmas HoLiDay Vignettes are down, I like to keep all my display areas pretty sparse/bare in January. I can better envision "what's to come" - with less clutter. In the meantime, I look for inspiration in all sorts of places ~ nature, social media, popping in small businesses/vintage stores. I wonder what's going to make my *heart sing* - THIS YEAR??? I enjoy culling-out items from my personal "SHaBBy STaSh" too, allowing me to make room for new vintage finds in this new year.

Collecting ViNtaGe Halloween Items from the 1950's-60's, has been such a joy for me. The Graphics are AmaZiNg!!! Love the Old Candy Boxes! Sooo much more interesting than the now plastic candy bags of today - in 2024! Gurley Brand Wax Candle figures & Fanny Farmer are my favorite!*!*! I'm always drawn to vintage HALLOWEEN WITCH items as well...

It's a Wrap for the *2024* Selling Season

at the ELKORN FLEA in Wisconsin,

held at the Walworth County Fairgrounds.

I was running behind during set-up, ~ Then BUSY checking out customers, - so needless to say, I hardly had time to take the pics I usually do... Quite a few SHaBBies from my personal stash - SOLD, but sad to say - Again - so few pics!!! They did go to very good homes!!!

This Antique Barrel pictured above was a favorite!!!

Such a nice mother/daughter Purchase!!! She'll be switching it out come the Holiday Season, as a Christmas Tree Base
