"Mid-August"... As I'm *Out & About* on my walks, I notice nature subtly changing... YES, we still have many weeks left of SUMMER, but birds & plants have started their Seasonal Change... Most of the Robin's have left now ~ the wintering ones are still here. I'm seeing more squirrels... Lot's of potential for DRYING WEEDS & BLOOMS are appearing. I love using these as colorful fillers indoors for vintage wood & metal containers... I've already cut Yellow Yarrow & Tansy... The Hydrangeas are now a beautiful Apple Green ~ and dry so nicely... The tall brown-toned weeds with many a seed, are great dimensional basket fillers as well...
