~ *EARLY FaLL Decor with ViNtaGe FiNds*~

Come Late August through the first few weeks of September, I like to start introducing some of my ViNtaGe FaLL Decor.

I RESERVE *JUST ONE AREA FOR THIS* in-our-home...

   Initially I shy away from PuMpKiNs, Strong ORANGE Colors, and PLAIDS at this time, so as not to tire of them as the month moves on...  Looking to *NATURE* ~ many a seasonal plant is turning/popping up!  I begin introducing colorful Apple-Green Hydranges, Yellow Tansy/Yarrow, & Snippets of "this & that" that are good Dried Items for Basket Fillers or Go-With Adornments...   I ~*JuSt LoVe Using ViNtaGe Containers & SaLvaGeD Pieces to Display These In!*!*!

~*Dried FALL Decor* in ViNtaGe Containers*~

 

 "Mid-August"...  As I'm *Out & About* on my walks, I notice nature subtly changing...  YES, we still have many weeks left of SUMMER, but birds & plants have started their Seasonal Change...  Most of the Robin's have left now ~ the wintering ones are still here.  I'm seeing more squirrels...  Lot's of potential for DRYING WEEDS & BLOOMS are appearing.  I love using these as colorful fillers indoors for vintage wood & metal containers...  I've already cut Yellow Yarrow & Tansy...  The Hydrangeas are now a beautiful Apple Green ~ and dry so nicely...  The tall brown-toned weeds with many a seed, are great dimensional basket fillers as well...
