SHaBBy SHoPPing in ILLINOIS...

Yesterday was the *Season-Opener* at the
 Kane County Flea, in Illinois...
It most certainly didn't feel like the
Start of SpRiNg - LIKE IT SHOULD HAVE!!!
After All, It was MARCH 1st!!!
*Mountains* of Snow in the parking lot... Cold/Cloudy weather...  A good number of Dealers Set-Up inside 3 large buildings, and the crowd definitely came out...   ~   I did net 2 fab ShaBBies, along with some smalls ~ but other than that, the Fresh Seasonal Stock just wasn't there ~ I'm sure it's due to the bad weather we've had this Winter!!!
THanK YOU Dealers that did set up!!!

Finishing the FLEA - earlier than planned, I squeezed-in
a few antique stops before I started my trek back to Wisconsin...
Most certainly SP*R*I*N*G Was in-the-air
with this cheery display at an Antique Store in Geneva, IL...

LoVed the inviting display in this booth...

"White-knuckle drive" back to Wisconsin!!!
Sooo Thankful I made it home safe last night!!!
The weather took a nasty turn
~ SNOWY WHITE-OUT With Ice, for the next
 3-1/2 hour drive - OMG!!!

P.S.  I'll be wrapping up my eBay Selling Season S*O*O*N...

  1. Jeanine,
The Kane opener was pretty sparce but hopefully as the season gets in full gear and the weather hopefully changes for the better the flea market will get better. I only found a few things too. Glad you made it home ok.
