Crisp... **54 degrees** As I was having my morning coffee in our screened in porch, my eye caught a glimpse of some early "LEAVES" beginning to turn... Although we have many a HoT Summer Day yet to Enjoy ~ A Hint-Of-FALL is Definitely In-The-Air THIS MORNING...

I snagged this ViNtaGe Girl Scout Canteen,
at the Flea LAST WEEKEND!!!

Even the darling SNAP-BUTTONS have the GS Logo...
With it's long shoulder strap ~ it would display wonderfully
in a mud room on a hooked wall board!!!

Morning! You won't believe I found the exact girl scout canteen years ago and sold it in my mercantile! The fabric was a tiny wale corduroy. I designed my own clothing line and one of my divisions was "Camp"! It was inspired by growing up on the lake in the midwest.

OMG!!!! That canteen brings back some memories. I love the cute brooch you put on the canteen too. So sweet. I too am loving this beautiful weather and having the windows open and hearing birds singing in the morning and not the the roar of the air conditioner on over drive!!!! This is my kind of summer weather.

I still have that from my girl scout days -- but mine has my eating dishes for camping in it -- not a canteen and I'm in my 50's.
