Although I REALLY LoVed Selling at Elkhorn Flea this past weekend, I STILL drove myself CrAzY "Not being able to Shop All Day"...  I can't even tell you how many SHaBBy Sightings Cruised By-My-Booth!!!   ~ ONE OF THESE DEFINITELY SENT ME "Over-The-Edge"...

 I approached the Cart... Talked to the "OWNER"...  NO WAY was she going to part with this Crusty/Rusty!*!*!

Can't you just SEE it with HoLiDaY Greens & a glass/candle???  I'm not giving up...
Will I get over this??????? - NO...

ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Sells at Wisconsin's Premier Flea Market - ELKHORN...

For years I have shopped the ELKHORN FLEA MARKET, at the Walworth County Fairgrounds, here in Wisconsin...  I LoVe ShoPPing there soooo much, that it was a hard decision for me SeLL there...   Although as a Dealer you somewhat "Get First PICKS" during Set-Up,  - the ShoPPing Time is so limited...  I had a FaB TIME SELLING THIS PAST WEEKEND, but it STILL drove me CrAzY when I caught glimpes of SOLD SHaBBies cruising past my Booth!*!*! - More on that later...

   CAROL from Door County Popped in my Booth  just at the right time - adding some "sunshine"!*!*!  ~ I was beginning to have 2nd thoughts...

My Main Display Anchor piece was this ViNtaGe, 1890's Victorian/French Style Chair...  It had such incredible lines & still retained it original black leather...  It was over-the-top FaBuLouS!!!

OMG!*!*!  No matter what the weather, ViNtaGe Seekers Definitely came out this past weekend, to Shop the "last of the 2011 Season" FLEA MARKET, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin...

  OMG!*!*!  It rained... It poured...  The SUN came out with rainbows...  It rained & poured some more...  That was the Weather Report ALL DAY SUNDAY at the Elkhorn Flea...  My Booth was consistently packed with ShoPPers after 11 a.m. - and they were buying!!!  I came home with one of the sparsest loads ever...

ELKORN FLEA ~ We're All Setting UP!*!*!

It was raining Off & ON during Dealer Set-Up late today (Saturday)...  HOWEVER, it didn't stop SHaBBy ShoPPing!!!  I'm bringing a small load in the morning to re-plenish my stock!!!  

 Thank goodness it stayed dry

 while we were putting up the tents...

 I grabbed an ARCHITECTURAL FINAL I've had for a long time...  It looked so FaB on top of this Prop/Base, that I may just end up "keeping them"?????????  I have a few days to THINK on this one!!!

October 2011 Country LiVinG Magazine PUMPKINS... BOTTLES... ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Style!*!*!

The lastest October/Fall issue of COUNTRY LIVING MAGAZINE, is a "must SEE/READ"...  BeSt Issue in a long, long time!!!  The cover photo REALLY drew me in!!!   I just had to try my hand at the AmAziNg FALL PUMPKIN Idea & WHITE BOTTLES... Just a day before my ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! RoadSide SaLe, (like I had nothing to do...) - here's what I came up with!!!

Country Living Magazine

Is this a FaB Cover or What!?!?!

 I displayed this PUMPKIN CREATION at my RoadSide SaLe on Saturday, along with a copy of the magazine...

  The milk glass pedestal/compote stand was JuSt PeRfeCT for displaying the Pumpkin!!!  Unfortunately the stand SOLD RIGHT AWAY ~ but it went to a good home!!!

 I followed Country Living's directions up to a certain point - then tossed-in a bit of my own interpretation ~ especially the center stem...

Not being a "crafter" - it seemed to take me a Long-Time...  AND now I know some things I'd do a little different/better...

 The next item that caught my eye in the magazine were WHITE BOTTLES with Bug/Nature Designs...  This was my "ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Interpretation of what I saw...  Soooo fun for HaLLoWeeN!*!*!  

 Here they are at Saturday's ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! RoadSide SaLe @ My Home...

 As items got SoLd, I created different vignettes using the BOTTLES...  Placement & Adornments can make such a difference...

I LoVEd the Bottles on the table's lower shelf...

 "ChiPPy" ViNtaGe ARCHITECTURAL RAILING FRAGMENT defining a small garden area on our property...

This piece has been in my garden for about 4 years now...  I stabilized the wonderful chippy paint patina with a clear varnish...  It's held up quite well through our Wisconsin winters... (click on pic to enlarge details...)
