**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy!** Re-Purposed WHITE WEDNESDAY!*!*!

OMG!!!  I Think I'm on to a "New SHaBBy Collection"!*!*!  Some time ago I picked up a chippy old light fixture and adorned it with a decorative glass globe and votive candle...  I liked it - "but didn't love it"...  Over the weekend my SHaBBy-Eye caught a glimpse of 2-More chippy old light fixtures...  IN A GROUPING THEY'RE JUST FaBuLouS!*!*!   Sooooo my advice to you - ALWAYS BUY WHAT YOU LOVE...  SOMETIMES IT JUST NEEDS AN ADDED ADORNMENT -OR- IMPACT OF A GROUPING...
**Now Hop On Over to FADED CHARM'S White Wednesday & enjoy the rest of the entries as well**

I'm now hooked on collecting these old light fixtures...  I think a larger grouping of different heights on an old tray would be a perfect table centerpiece!*!*!

  PaTiNa adds such unique character!!!
"Sooooo much more interesting than brand new"...

I find it perfectly acceptable to mix in a bit of color...
I  L*O*V*E  the fluted bobeche edges...

  5. I love doing this with the old light fixtures. I also have a couple bottoms of the old standing lamps that I have used as bases for the large candles and even statues look great.

    Take care,

  6. They do look great grouped together! That fact that you've managed to find three is amazing. I don't think I ever see any that cool and I always look at old light fixtures and pieces.

  9. I really like those old light fixtures turned into a candle holder

It's so funny how we see things like that in a pile of junk and walk pass it and then see it on your blog and all of a sudden love it

  11. Yes, in a grouping they look magnificent! I have a thing for old Light fixtures but often when I got them Home they wouldn't work as originally intended and I've repurposed them in many ways too, including as candle holders. I agree completely, if you love the aesthetic of a piece, buy it, eventually you'll get an epiphany on how best to use and showcase it.
