**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy!** AnTiQuE Day Trip...

The Day After Thanksgiving, we ventured out for a day of "Antiquing" in Illinois...  First Stop ~ Roscoe Antique Mall,  a little less than 2 hours from our home...   This store is a bit upscale with wonderful unique quality vintage/antique items - NO JUNK...  As a dealer, I find it hard to buy for re-sale here, with it's higher priced selling tags, but rightfully so...  We also hit a few smaller shops as we worked our way over to Ridgefield, Illinois...  This bink-of-the-eye downtown is filled with a grouping of antique stores...  It has such a quaint old-world feeling...  I especially love Country Church Antiques - lots of architectural and shabbies to be found there...  The other shop called ANTIQUES, had The BeSt Vintage Garden Display outside - all decked out in Christmas Holiday Trim - sooooo inviting!*!*!  We then stopped at Kimball & Bean, a very high-end Vintage/Architectural/Garden Delight!!!  They were having their HoLiDay Open House...  I did end up netting an awesome chippy Cherub there...

This piece was AwEsoMe!!!  Price tag was tooo high for resale, and I didn't love it enough to keep...

This old advertising piece was soooo beautiful...  I just love ViNtaGe Birdies!*!*!

This past summer up in Door County, I sold a small industrial cabinet very similar...  The patina on this one was amazing...

These vintage place card holders were just stunning...

I love shopping here!!!
Located in Ridgefield, Illinois...

  2. I love the church building. That's always been my dream to move an old church building and turn it into an antique shop. I missed one a while back, they tore it down, wasn't meant to me I guess. Have a great Sunday, T

  3. The chippy cherub is the best. I have a rusted lawn chair just like that one and you have inspired me once again.
