**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy!** Antique Trip - Madison Wisconsin...

We headed out somewhat early on Saturday to spend the day "Antiquing in Madison, Wisconsin"...  We arrived a bit too early for the shops to be open, so we opted for "BREAKFAST AT SOPHIA'S"!*!*!  This little gem of a Bakery/Cafe has the BeST Food!!!  I think only the locals know it's there...  "4 Tables" and a waiting line down the block...  LoVed our breakfast and nice strong CoFFee!*!*!

I love ShoPPing Madison!*!*!  Great Antiques, Clothes Shopping, & BeSt-Ever Food Choices...

Sophia's...  The "Urban Spoon" of the neighborhood ~ a bit away from the Capitol, on East Johnson Street...

Although the restaurant only has "4" tables and a window bar, THE WAIT IS WELL WORTH IT!*!*!

FUNKY Decor with a hint of retro...  It's soooo fun to watch them cook/prepare your food...  Their "sweet treats" are just as delicious as they look...

Please do check back... ~ MORE TO COME on the rest of our Saturday Antique Shopping in Madison...  All I can say is by days end, we FILLED UP THE CAR with some FaB ViNtaGe Finds!*!*!

  5. Girl, you had me at STRONG COFFEE, it sure makes the fall pickins better!

I had my cable TV taken out and the juices really started flowing again, I'll be doing crunches all winter creating for the new shop. My theme is 'My Secret Gardens'...all about the Earth, recycling and Nature in general. No mowed grass for me, they'll have to wander Scratchy's well worn paths here and there.

I'm gonna build me a privacy fence of old arched storm windows to make it more secretive...am I gonna have fun or what...and OH that 35 foot commute from my back door...ahhhh!

Wish me luck through the winter and I'll do ya the same!

  6. I ate at Sophia's one rainy Saturday morning a year ago when I was in Madison for an estate sale. It is like a tiny European cafe and the food is wonderful! Can't wait to see what treasures you found.
