**Cider Donuts** & other Seasonal Delights...

I don't know about you, but I'm just about over-saturated with Halloween Decorations & moving onto 'FOOD'...  While we were "Out-East" a few weeks ago, we occasionally came across Road-Signs that read CIDER DONUTS!*!*!  I am sooooooo craving one of these "Hot Now" delights!*!*!  BeSt-Ever, warm... sweet... sugary...

 After passing up quite a few of these signs, we just had to STOP!*!*! 

These were the BeSt!*!*!  Made right on the spot outdoors...  Be sure to enlarge this one!*!*! 

My friend Liz is the BeSt Pumpkin Carver!!!  She shared quite a few "secrets" with me including the best tools to make it easy...

I sold this delightful 3-compartment industrial tote last month at Kane...  I wont' be selling at Kane County Flea this November - but will have a booth at GRAYSLAKE, IL NOVEMBER 13th/14th...  Check my sidebar for details...

The Gurley Candle Company produced many a "Seasonal  Holiday Candle"...  I only collect Vintage Halloween candles... All of mine have the original cardboard label on the bottom with price sticker...

Next year I'm anxious to display the candles in a metal industrial box turned sideways...  I think I have just the perfect one!*!*!

 I sold this Architectural piece at one of the shows I did in Germantown, Wisconsin early Spring...  I'll be bringing an architectural piece with corbels/mirror/shelf to Grayslake on November 13th/14th...  Come shop my shabbies!*!*!

 Love these architectural fragments with tassels still intact!!!  Keepers of mine ~ yet to be hung...  Great paint crazing...

**More ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! UpDates on the Madison WI Shabby ShoPPing**

The Burkhardt's REALLY PACKED-IT-IN!!!  Late in the day on Saturday, we ventured out-of-the-area - to Evansville,  with hopes of shopping Windmill Antiques. Arriving at 4:25 p.m.,their sign read CLOSED...   The lady at the check-out was kind enough to give us "a 10 minute, blink-of-the-eye viewing"...  Shortly after, petal to the metal, we headed to our last stop,  ~ STOUGHTON ANTIQUE MALL with 35 minutes of shopping time to spare...

 

  I love shopping this "girlie" mall of sort...  I almost always come away with a SHaBBy Find!*!*!

The outside of the building is just amazing!!!

"On-The-Hunt" at another Antique Mall, - This little vignette just drew my eye...  LoVed EVERYTHING in it!*!*!  I definitely would have bought the tray ~ but it just wasn't "shabby enough"...

 Sled Sighting...  Although it was perfectly chippy, I DID PASS ON IT... ~ Just a bit tooooo country/farm primitive for me???  What do YOU think??? - I can still call the shop...

**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy!** Antique Trip - Madison Wisconsin...

We headed out somewhat early on Saturday to spend the day "Antiquing in Madison, Wisconsin"...  We arrived a bit too early for the shops to be open, so we opted for "BREAKFAST AT SOPHIA'S"!*!*!  This little gem of a Bakery/Cafe has the BeST Food!!!  I think only the locals know it's there...  "4 Tables" and a waiting line down the block...  LoVed our breakfast and nice strong CoFFee!*!*!

  I love ShoPPing Madison!*!*!  Great Antiques, Clothes Shopping, & BeSt-Ever Food Choices...

Sophia's...  The "Urban Spoon" of the neighborhood ~ a bit away from the Capitol, on East Johnson Street...

Although the restaurant only has "4" tables and a window bar, THE WAIT IS WELL WORTH IT!*!*!

FUNKY Decor with a hint of retro...  It's soooo fun to watch them cook/prepare your food...  Their "sweet treats" are just as delicious as they look...

Just LoVing this "Old Antique Lantern" I picked up at a recent Barn Sale!*!*!  The Owl that recently SOLD - had a "twin sister"!!! ~ Same mold - a bit different patina...

Take a closer peek at the time-worn paint on the glass edges...

**BeSt-Ever** INDUSTRIAL CABINET...

OMG!*!*!  This was the Best-Ever Industrial Cabinet Sighting on our Fall Trip!!!  YES, I did say "sighting"...   With "space issues" extreme weight, & oily smell,  there was just NO WAY we  were taking it home this early in on the trip...  AND, I just about passed out looking at the price tag ~ ONLY $65.00 - that's right, the decimal is in the correct place...  OMG!*!*!  

 

 If this were going to be a "keeper", we most certainly would have found a way to get it home!!!

Loved this RoadSide Stand just miles from our home...

I SOLD this "Fluted-Tin" at Cedarburg's Maxwell Street Flea Market on Labor Day Weekend...  The Tin will also look "Just FaB" adorned with Christmas Greens & Ornaments...
