**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Shops ElKhoRn Flea MaRKeT**

Opting for an "early-buy-in" - I was on the road by 4 a.m. headed to Elkhorn's Last Flea Market of the 2010 Season... With early morning temperatures in the "low 40's" ~ I bundled up with lots of layers...  It was still dark when I arrived, sooooo I brought my flashlight...  Unfortunately, unlike summertime, due to cold and darkness, many a dealer were not at their booth EARLY... Sheets/tarps were covering their goods - even in the lit buildings... & some sellers were still driving in at 6:30 a.m. to set up - just before the 7 a.m. opening to the public...  All in all, the day was beautiful if you dressed for it ~ not too windy, a bit crisp, but mostly sunny...  The fairgrounds became mobbed by 10 a.m.

 LoVe this Flea Market!*!*!
Last one of the 2010 Season...

This was Joan's Booth of "anything goes here"   Yes, Joan and her huband were busy setting up when I came through EARLY in the morning...  I bought something from her right away...  By the time I went to pick my item up, her space was nearly empty!!! ~ Great Sales Joan...

Here's Chris with her darling parents...  They come to each flea market to help out...

YES, I did indeed buy those chippy-shabby chairs!!!

One of my favorite things to see "OUTDOOR BLING"   ~ Chandelier Kathy's Booth...

The Iowa Junk Gypsies always have a great display...

OMG!*!*!  I now see a table I should have snatched up!!!

Candyce & Jill's Booth ~ "Altered Ever After" - was "just mobbed!*!*!

I drove this dealer nuts ~ trying to decide whether to buy... -OR- not to buy the corbels...

Check back later in the week to SEE more of "9 Hours" of ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! ShoPPing at Elkhorn Flea...

  2. I did my very first show at Elkhorn and am SO EXCITED! I have been doing show for over 25 years and always wanted to get here. I had a lot of positve feedback and hope to be back next year! I just wasn't able to ever leave my booth because I take so long doing an elaborate display. Next time, I cut back a bit so I can go and buy some! I just love your website and visit it often. 7. Thanks for stopping by and for the pictures you took of the booth. It was a near sell-out. This tired team is still sleepy, but gathering furiously for Kane. We're in the cafeteria building, so we'll see you there!
