ANTIQUE GARDEN SHOW ~ Northwind Perennial Farm, Wisconsin

This past weekend I had an Outdoor Booth Space at the Northwind Perennial Farm Antique Garden Show, in Burlington Wisconsin ~ just minutes from the Famous Lake Geneva Resort Area...  THE WEATHER was a major factor ~ with a prediction of "Scattered Thunderstorms" both Friday & Saturday...   Like a "Girl Scout" - I prepared myself with a "double-tented" space, along with a good supply of tarps...   The GOOD NEWS is that we did not have any Major Rain - just plenty a scare with wind & dark skies...  You know the old saying ~ bring an umbrella and it won't rain!!!  HOWEVER, just about everyone I talked to, who ventured into my booth, said it was raining "cats & dogs" from where they came ...  Needless to say, THIS PUT A BIG DAMPER ON SALES ~ ESPECIALLY ON SATURDAY... Compared to last year, Sales were way down ~ but YES, it was worth the effort...   Sooooo grab a cup of coffee & sit a long spell ~ I took a million & one pics for you to enjoy...  (click on photos to enlarge detail...)

We rented a Cargo Van this year...  It was  AmAziNgLy Huge inside!!!  Jeff is a "Master at PaCkiNg"!!! ~ Not a single thing shifted inside...

We secured EVERYTHING after set-up Thursday Night...  A possible Thunderstorm was predicted over night... ~ That meant a lot of re-arranging in the morning...

This sweet... sweet... kitty was my Friday Morning friend while I was tweaking all my vignettes...

The weather turned out JUST GREAT on Friday, & I was able to have many an item outside of the tent...  The Serious Buyers Came Out EARLY!!!

This watering can was from my personal collection... ~ It SOLD right away...   Gorgeous Old Chippy Teal Blue Paint...  & YES - those were real sunflowers!*!*!

This is the view I had from my check-out table...  If you look real close you can get a glimpse of "Mariann" ~ my friend who I helped out this past Fall, at The Mother of All Flea Markets, in Warrenton, Texas...  Mariann sells all over the U.S.

This was the center area of my booth space...  I kept tarping the sides on and off all day...

This GoRgeOuS Tole Chandelier SOLD on Saturday to this lucky Lady...  I had planned to keep it if it didn't sell...  It was soooooo PeRfeCtLy ChiPPy!*!*!

This Crusty... Rusty... Iron Architectural Fragment SOLD right away...  It will look Just Fab in the GaRdeN!*!*!

Since I was by myself both Friday & Saturday, I had very little time to shop other Dealers booths...  HOWEVER, I did wander a bit & saw these AmaZiNg - "Crusty... Rusty" Holders of Sort...  I brought back a votive candle "to try" from my booth & they looked "Just Fab"!!! AND - OMG!!! this vendor, Jamie Johnson, has a BLOG & I've been on it!!!  Check it out for yourself ~ Jamie has some AwEsoMe Vintage Garden Items!*!*!    HOLLYHOCK GARDEN ANTIQUES

Jan & Kathy's Booth ~ GRACIE'S COTTAGE ~ check out their blog too...  Their booth was quite far from mine so we didn't get to chit-chat much during the show...  These gals know how display & pack it in!*!*!

More of my "outdoor sprawl"...  Unfortunately this LoVeLy Garden Set did not sell AGAIN ~ I had it at my House Sale too...  It is sooooo AwEsoMe!!! ~ Just look at those chair backs!!!  It's now available, at a much reduced price -  at "CEDAR CREEK ANTIQUES" ~ on the 2nd floor of the Old Mill in Cedarburg, Wisconsin...

Most of the Hanging Lanterns SOLD...    The Tri-Fold Doors were part of my display/prop... ~ EVERYONE wanted to buy them!!!

More shoppers...

These 2 ladies were having sooooo much fun!!!  The Lovely Vintage Garden Settee went home with the Lady on the right!*!*!

Here's a "Sneak-Peek" of Catherine, in one of the Garden Areas across from my booth!!!  Catherine is just a Doll!!! ~ AND GREAT CUSTOMER!!!

Here I am "bagging up a purchase"...

If you look real close, Denise & Janice's Booth is on the right...  These Ladies are from Illinois ~ and most of the time have Booth Spaces at Kane County & Grayslake Flea Market...  Denise also has a shop in Geneva, Illinois - Denise's Home Adornments...

I loved this little re-arranged vignette toward the end of the day...

Plant Stand & Garden Table...

  ChiPPy!-SHaBBy!

My Drop Dead GoRgeOuS Zinc/Tin Architectural Pediment SOLD at the end of the day on Saturday...  It's being picked-up at my house in a couple weeks!*!*!  This lucky lady has the perfect spot for it ~ above her bed!!! - How AweSoMe is that!*!*!

And lastly, a "sweet vignette" ~ basket with chippy tin flower holders and garden spade...

A BIG THANK YOU to all of YOU for your Much Appreciated Business!!!
