Valentine Cookies!*!*! ~ PeRfeCtly Delicious...
I baked these yummy cookies (recipe from the"Silver Palate Cookbook" -one of my favorites cookbooks)... I brought them to Yesteday's Flea Market/Antique Show... ~ COOKIES were "Free with purchase"!!! I displayed them as-is in this "VINTAGE TIN" BAKING PAN WITH REMOVABLE HEART CENTER"... Quite a few people wanted to buy the tin!!!
My Husband surprised me with this Vintage Candy Box for Valentine's Day... It is just AwEsoMe!!! I LoVe the Cherry Motif...
The lid is still in very good condition ~ sort of padded... The inside still retains it's original embossed scalloped-edge paper...
Jeff carefully lined the inside of the box with foil & filled it with my Favorite Candy from 2 of our local candy shops ~ Amy's Candy Kitchen (http://www.amyscandykitchen.com/) & Beerntsen's Confectionary (http://beerntsens.com/)... What a thoughtful husband I have!!! XOXOX
