Wisconsin Winter "Day Trip"...

Last week Jeff & I decided to take a "day trip" & do some in between Christmas/New Years antiquing...  I remembered shopping an Antique Mall abut 2 hours north-west of us this past Fall...  I had bought some shabby things at a good price - they flew out of my tiny Antique Space here in Cedarburg...  Bundled up on this cold, dreary, sunless day, we headed out...  The scenery was so drab...  Unfortunately the Mall had been well picked over...  There were only a couple things worth taking pics of...

"Just Exquisite"...  Unfortunately the it had a hefty price tag...

I just loved the delicate cherub motif on the silver...

Next Stop ~ LARGE JUNKER MALL (we were there 3 hours)... I spotted these unusual shabby chairs!*!*!  Not quite my style - but would have picked them up if the seats were in better condition...  Way too much work to re-do...

After hours in this totally junker mall, I finally saw something worth having!!!  Unfortunately it had the NFS Sign on it...

  1. Hi Jeanine, there are so few good malls left out there. I know the feeling of walking around for hours and not finding much. Linda and Katherine and I are heading out together next Tues. I hope we have some luck. Need all the inspiration I can get this time of year!Love J.
