SHaBBy "ViNtaGe Christmas" BiRds!*!*!

As I was enjoying all of my Christmas Vignettes this morning ~ I didn't realize how many Vintage Christmas birdies I really do have!*!*! ~ It must be my love of "vintage garden"... (click on pics for a more detailed view... click on comments to leave feedback...)


This darling little paper bird cut-out is made from "old sheet music"...

The old clip-on bird is perched on white tallow berries...





This little green birdie is actually a "vintage light bulb"!!!






If you look close ~ there is a vintage bird hanging in the cage!!!

This little clip-on bird is resting in a NEST MADE FROM "Alyssum"...

I Photo-copied vintage holiday post cards with birds & pasted them to the outside of my mailing packages!*!*! ~ ***Makes for a nice touch*** arriving on someone's door step!*!*!

  2. I love paper birds like that first one and have even made a few. I have a lot of Christmas birds, but not many are truly vintage.
