Last Week... ~ In between Selling at the Northwind Garden Show ~AND~ my RoadSide Sale, Frog Husband whisked ChiPPy-SHaBBy off to our FaVoRiTe Getaway Spot - DOOR COUNTY, WISCONSIN!*!*!
Door County is about 2-1/2 hours North of Cedarburg, ... It's located on a picturesque peninsula ~ known for it's cherry orchards & water activities... We started off with some nice strong coffee in our "vacation mugs"... The sailboat mug was a purchase from "Clay Bay Pottery" - in Ellison Bay - on the peninsula...
It's a beautiful drive for us up to The Door... I love when the road skirts Lake Michigan... One of our FaVoRiTe Stops is DODGE ANTIQUES in Downtown, Algoma... Tom the owner is quite the character!!! GREAT STOP!!!
Fred & Co. is one of my FaVoRite ShoPPing Places... Terry Goettelman, the owner is just darling!*!*! We always stop there after having Breakfast at the White Gull Inn (best cherry pancakes on the peninsula!!!)
Sometimes Terry brings her Himalayan Cat - "Everest" to the shop!!! This was a "Rare Moment" when she let Everest downstairs in the store... Sweetest Cat Ever!*!*!

Everything is done 1st class at the Blacksmith Inn... The gardens/grounds/rooms are soooo well taken care of... ~ Just beautiful...
BesT Weather ~ enjoying breakfast out on the deck overlooking a view of the water... This side of the Peninsula is much quieter...
There's never a time when we don't make at least "2" stops at Viva la Cottage when we're up in Door County!!! Angie's store is like a "little Anthropologie" ...
Viva's Gardens are just GoRgeOuS!!! These "Royal Wedding Poppies" were in bloom when we were there...
