With my longing for SPRING, and the Spring/Summer Show Contracts coming in, ~  All I can think about is **WHITE TENT TIME**   I'm feeling desperate for an OUTDOOR FLEA MARKET FIX!!!   -  I've now resorted to going through pics - from long ago - of FaB Finds & Great Selling Times from a DAY @ THE OUTDOOR FLEA...

In 2011, Flea Market Style Magazine, voted this as one of THE BeSt Small Outdoor Shows in Wisconsin...

Although I've netted a few select ViNtaGe Finds during this Winter Season, I still long for the Sighting of Those WHITE TENTS  ~ in pursuit of my

 ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Bliss...

I'm hopeful that I might SEE a few WHITE TENTS 
Next Weekend ~ @ Kane County's First Flea
 of the 2012 Season...

B*I*R*D*S are SiGNS -OF- SpRinG!*!*!

Even though the month of February is just "flying-by" - SPRING just can't come soon enough for me!!!  Aside from the GoRgeOuS THICK,WHITE, & FLUFFY Snow we woke up to this morning, for the most part, the landscape remains dull... dead... & brown!!!     - Sooooo I decided I needed a little "Pick-Me-Up" - Something just for me ~  that says: **SPriNG's Around The Corner**...

 Nothing Says "Spring's Around the Corner"

** Like BiRdS ** and ** Bright Colors **

I picked up a whole stack of the sweetest - 
"dessert-size" birdie plates!*!*!  ~Soooo glad I did!!! 
The colorful *Flower Dish Towel* added a much needed splash of color
making the vignette POP!*!*!

I just couldn't resist the Platter either!*!*!

Platters are soooo functional!!!

The ChiPPy SHaBBy White Metal Tote is a fun piece to display it in...

LAST WEEK, while selling my SHaBBies at the 

  Grayslake Antique/Flea Market, I netted

 *~* One-Of-The-BeSt-Ever *~* ViNtaGe Finds

for my personal ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Collection!!!

 It's not very often that I come across

 ViNtaGe Italian Tole 

with BiRdiEs!*!*!  

I've seen Tole Birdcages before...

I've seen Tole Birds on Sconces/Candle Holders...

I've seen Birds on Tole Flower Lamps...

But I have NEVER seen the combination of both

 the Birdies & Cage together!*!*!

 I LoVe when these Italian Tole Pieces

 STILL RETAIN their ORIGINAL

 Metal -Or- Paper, "Made-In-Italy" Tag... 

For now, this darling Birdie/Cage

 will adorn my hutch filled with some of

 my FaVoRite White Pottery...

Sunny SaTurDay... SHaBBy!-SHoPPing On My BiRthDay!*!*!

YESTERDAY, "Frog-Husband" and I hit the road in search of SHaBBies for Me... and "Guy-Stuff" for him...  STILL the Dead of WINTER here in the Midwest, not a lot of "fresh-stock" is flying in and out of these malls... AND, for a dealer, it's always hard to buy at malls, because of the "price-point"...  HOWEVER,we both came home with a few ViNtaGe Finds!!!

Imagine my SuRpRiSe when I found this darling ViNtaGe GIRL SCOUT PIN in a jar of Old Buttons!*!*!

My First Thought was to Attach it to a necklace,

 along with other vintage charms...  HOWEVER,

 I just don't want to remove it's pin backing...

FOR NOW ~ I've decided to wear it

 adorning my "Jean Jacket Pocket"

It's all in the details...

Sometimes the "smallest" of things bring joy...

One of the things that pulls at my "heart-strings", is a  LoVe of ViNtaGe Items "with a B*I*R*D*I*E Motif...    Since becoming addicted to JEANNE d' ARC LIVING MAGAZINE, I'm gradually becoming more and more attracted to "Religious" Adornments - especially if they have a ChiPPy Paint Loss Patina... and this one has a B*I*R*D...
