**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy!** Rusty ViNtaGe O*W*L*S...

I'll have to admit ~ I really haven't spent as much time as I would like/should have - in the GaRagE these past few days...  The weather has just been "BLISSful"...  I chose to connect with friends... Go for a drive... Hang my head out the window... Dine at outdoor cafes... and take some walks instead...  In between all of this, that, and the other - I pulled out the hammer and started my "EARLY FALL ENTRY VIGNETTE "...  These OWLS reminded me that I really shouldn't "give-a-hoot"!*!*!   

I LoVe OWLS in the FALL... 

 I picked up these time-worn RUSTY VINTAGE OWLS a few months back... They were covered in MUD!!!  I just knew there was some great patina underneath!*!*!

The natural time-worn rust spots give them such character...  Sooooo much more interesting than brand new!*!*!

Can't wait to SEE what else develops...

When it comes to ViNtaGe Finds,  "My First LoVe"

is a Natural Time-Worn PATINA...    

I love the Rusty Patina on the
 Old Architectural Tin Panel...

 The Metal Box's Old White Paint has acquired a FaBuLouS Time-Worn Paint Loss Patina...

The Wicker/Splint Basket has a

 "PerFecTly ChiPPy Paint Loss Patina,

 with many colorful layers poking through...

"Sooooo much more interesting than Brand New"...

You may find another basket...

But what I LoVe BeSt ~ Is that each one is a "UNIQUE, ONE-OF-A-KIND" ~ ViNtaGe Find...  No two are exactly alike...

 All the different elements work so well together...

**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! BaSkeT with FaLL Hydrangeas!*!*!

On our property, we have some of "The BeSt" Annabelle Hydrangeas!!!   Annabelle's produce very large blooms...  In between working on my SHaBBies yesterday, I just knew it was "H*A*R*V*E*S*T   T*I*M*E, - with the hydrangeas having turned green for about two weeks now...

 Before hanging them up to dry... -

 I just had to see what they would look like displayed!!!

 I grabbed this FaB SHaBBy Wire Basket that I purchased at Viva la Cottage mid-summer...  The Basket is quite unusual - as it is much much taller than it's more commonly seen shorter version... 

 BeSt Time-Worn PaTiNa!*!*!

It's wire frame is coated with a rubber of sort ~

 that has now aged just FaBuLously...

 Such Great Form...  ~ LoVe the Rusty Handle too...

Soooooo Much more Interesting than Brand New!*!*!

"Not Tooooo SHaBBy GaRaGe" - now that the Harvest Is In!!! 

    Looks soooo refreshing with all the Hydrangeas hung on the ladder to dry...  A lovely Accent - to adorn your Fall Baskets/Containers with their GoRgeOuS Apple Green Color...

It's beginning to look a bit like FaLL ~ with ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! Adornments...

In these past few days, the air is "Just a little bit different" and some of the leaves in our backyard garden are beginning to turn...   Time to bring a hint of "NATURE'S WONDERS" - InSide!*!*!

Are these leaves gorgeous or what!*!*!

I adorned one of my favorite chippy white picnic baskets with the colorful branch...

I recently acquired this piece of "ViNtaGe BarkCloth", in a less commonly seen "Leaf Pattern" - Just perfect for this time of year...

With September just around the corner, I'm spending most of my days IN & AROUND THE GARAGE... SCRUBBING, REPAIRING, & TAGGING ShaBBies...
  Can't wait for my Fall Show Line-Up to Begin!!!

**ChiPPy!-SHaBBy!** Shops ELKHORN FLEA - Wisconsin...

All I can say is UNBELIEVABLE!*!*!   The weather this past Sunday was "Just PeRfeCt" for Outdoor Flea ShoPPing!!!!!!!!  Every dealer space was FULL...  and the CROWD was definitely buying!!! 

 Just Mobbed with Shoppers ALL-DAY-LONG!!!

 There was definitely lots of competition for buying...

This is my first~ SAD TO SAY... ALREADY SOLD... I would have paid just about any price for this!!!  Nice smaller size - endless FALL DISPLAY Possibilities...  

SECOND, SAD-TO-SAY ITEM...

Again, I would have paid just about any insane price for this Re-Purposed Rusty PUMPKIN CART!!!

Just got back from 8 Hours - that's right - 8 Hours of Non-Stop ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! ShoPPing at the Elkhorn Flea Market...  The weather could not have been any better - Beyond FaBuLouS - Just PeRfeCt for Outdoor Flea ShoPPing!*!*!

ViNtaGe "Silver SHaBBies" netted at the Flea TODAY...

 Along with a "FaB" Dark & Chippy Table - (how perfect for Fall/Halloween) & shabby white glass door... (click on pics to enlarge...)

 I netted these 2 darling silver trumpet vases

 in Sydney's Booth...

The large candelabra in the background was netted from Lenny & Erica - Apron Strings, Mom & Me...

 Just had to have these two broken chandelier arm fragments

 from Judy - Iowa Junk Gypsies...  

 I love adorning old Tea Pots with Ivy...

Seems to bring everything to life ~ like jewelry on the dress...

 Ornate Bases...
