1st OutDoor Antique Market of the Season - The SUN NEVER CAME OUT...

This past Sunday I set-up at the First Outdoor Selling Market of the 2012 Season...  YOU never know what to expect "weather wise" - especially at this time of year...
•THE SUN NEVER CAME OUT...
•CONSTANT WIND...  (I had great tent weights)
•WINTER COAT & SCARF...
•IT POURED BUCKETS ~ near days end...


Thank goodness most of my SaLes were EARLY-ON!*!*!

The load-in was wonderfully EASY - you
 could pull right up to your space!*!*!
DEALERS LoVe This!!!




Rosemary came over to give me hug when 
I FINALLY got All-Set-Up...

Although the SHOW Opened at 10 a.m. -
Shoppers were lurking as early as 8:30
4 of my Larger "Anchor Pieces" SOLD well before 10 am
No Worries in my Booth ~ I was there to SELL - ANYTIME!*!*!
This AwEsoMe CHiPPy Cart
 was the FIRST to go...



This Over-The-Top FaB ChiPPy White Garden Table was the second "Anchor Piece" to sell early on... In fact, I honestly did not get "FULLY SET UP" - till 11 am - OMG!!!
  




I quickly found a replacement for the SOLD GARDEN TABLE - with this AwEsoMe White Iron Planter with rusty P*A*T*I*N*A...




Yet another Anchor Piece that SOLD early on...





CARLA was my Neighbor-For-The-Day...
I couldn't have asked for a better friend to be by!!! - She drove & got us some Strong HOT CoFFee to warm up with!*!*!
Carla creates the most AmaZingly BEAUTIFUL/Unique Plant/Flower arrangements using THE BeSt Crusty Rusty Props!*!*!  No two are alike...  This BirdHouse Creation SOLD IMMEDIATELY - Everyone wanted it!*!*!  Carla sells at Grayslake Flea quite often...

Packing Up - In the POURING RAIN was 
***Twilight Zone***
Even though I had a Tent - It had to come down and be put in the Van - WET!!!  
EVERYTHING WAS WET ~ And everything had to be put in the Van...
Thank goodness I brought my AwEsoMe Rain Jacket with a hood!!! - Even that had to be taken off before I drove away in the van...
Needless to Say - I spent a good part of today DRYING OFF EVERYTHING...

  2. Yes, I was pretty soggy driving home too. It was great to see you Jeanine. Your booth looked awesome, of course. I see we both posted photos of us. Were we happy to see each other, or just trying to stay warm. lol

  3. I feel cold just looking at the pictures--Rosemary looks frozen! Love all the stuff you had. Wish me and a hot cup of coffee could have been there! I'm from Oregon..I am used to being cold:)

  10. LOL -- I was hoping to come over but didn't have enough time and I admit, the weather didn't make me really WANT to come too badly! Heading out to Kane Co. this weekend -- supposedly this rain will end by then! Looks like you had a great set up and great friends to hang with!
