**Nov.2010 Delafield Antique Show**

Our plans for "lots of antique stops on Friday" - didn't quite unfold as planned ~ HOWEVER we did get to the Delafield Antique Show just as it opened on Friday Evening...   The Delafield Show is hosted twice a year - Spring & Fall... For me the show is too "high-end" with very few shabbies...  However, on occasion I've been known to come home with a find or two... - That was ALMOST THE CASE on Friday Night...   It was a pleasant surprise to find more "Industrial Items" at this 2010 November Fall Show...

We started "downstairs" first...  This old farm basket made quite a statement being soooooo tall...  Sorry dealer - but the price was quite insane ~ considering I saw one yesterday at Kane for only dollars...  Maybe there was something I was missing about it's uniqueness???

OMG!!! This was an item I actually considered bringing home!*!*!

I loved this column top...  Although it had wonderful time-worn imperfections, I was told it never reached a building top... - It was more a builder's "sample"...  LoVed It and the price was affordable...

It was nice to grab a coffee while we walked around...

OMG!!!  WHAT A FAB DISPLAY...  Someone must have collected these over the years...

Worden Antiques ALWAYS DOES SUCH A FAB DISPLAY!*!*!  We enjoyed talking to this Michigan Vendor...  Many a unique industrial items could be found in their booth...

This rusty vintage urn was "Just Fab"!!!

  3. Nice to see some inspirational stuff at the Delafield show! I haven't been in awhile; it's always felt more like visiting a museum to me. Loaded with amazing stuff to see in person but "untouchable"; (expensive and not what I'd want to live with.)
    See you at Grayslake!
